    Internal Relations Manager – UK - 12 month FTC

    The role:

    This role will enhance the business value by positively positioning DP World with colleagues and internal stakeholders. The incumbent would be expected to significantly improve employee engagement, trust, reputation, brand, and license to operate in Europe.

    Responsible for the definition and development of strategic activities, as well as the support of internal communication strategies, procedures, and governance. Accountable for establishing, creating, delivering, and measuring strategic actions in collaboration with and with the assistance of other functions. Managing relevant support organisations and leading campaigns and marketing materials on time and within budget.

    The incumbent will offer a wealth of expertise and a commitment to deliver breakthroughs, as well as an unavoidable and consistent link between the Centres of Excellence (COE). They will guarantee our internal storytelling threads our narrative framework.

    Key accountabilities:

    Planning. To collaborate with the Senior Manager External Relations to create and implement the Europe Internal Communications Plan, which includes:

    • Targeted audiences - Who, When, What, Where, and How?
    • 'Localisation' of Strategy as needed
    • Execution of all COE toolkits
    • Budgeting

    Implementation. To drive effective and cost-efficient Execution of the Plan through:

    • Blending of global/regional content/campaigns with coordination of regional/local activities
    • Effective management of external agencies where necessary
    • A focus on consistency and coherence/ 'One voice' across all channels
    • Providing strategic guidance to internal stakeholders around the development and execution of internal communication campaigns that support brand and business objectives and build employee ambassadorship
    • Ensure internal communication tools and channels are kept up-to-date, are engaging and reflect business messaging
    • Proactively drive the internal communication strategies and tactics that will engage and inspire employees
    • Execute initiatives that engage internal stakeholders towards ambassadorship on the business vision and increase advocacy for our region and business
    • Co-ordination and planning of internal conferences and events
    • Draft internal communication announcements, articles, posters, presentations and other business communications.
    • Deputise for the Internal Communications Manager where appropriate.

    Measurement. To establish and report on a monthly rolling basis:

    • Use data/analytics to monitor performance against targets (KPIs and ROI)
    • Evaluates the relative effectiveness and efficiency of different channels
    • Tracks progress against overall objectives for stakeholder awareness and engagement

    Tactical Responsiveness . To maintain agility and '24/7 attention' in order to.

    • Deal with the fast-changing environment

    Continuous Improvement . To encourage and nurture a culture of innovation designed to:

    • Test and validate new ideas and approaches
    • Explore opportunities for enhanced cost-efficiency ('doing more with less')

    Compliance. To constantly adhere to and actively promote behaviours which reflect the Brand Purpose while specifically:

    • Maintaining the highest levels of Safety standards
    • Complying with our Principles, Code of Conduct and Ethical policies
    • Meeting all agreed standards for DP World Brand and Visual Identity
    • Acting as an ambassador for DP World at all times

    Person Specification:

    To be a success in this role you will have/be:

    • MA/BA in communications, journalism, public relations, or related field or proven experience in relevant field
    • Experience in communications and/or PR and a track record of implementing campaigns which achieved measurable results
    • Leadership and Business Communications: Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Fluency in English and copy writing experience essential
    • Ability to influence key stakeholders to drive consistency and positive change across the organisation
    • High level of planning and project management
    • Strong presentation development experience
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and team player.
    • Demonstrate emotional intelligence with a sense of perspective
