    TPFRecruitment is recruiting for a VAT Assistant Manager on behalf ofour highly reputable and growing client based in Brighton Worthing& Gatwick. Our client is one of the most respected firms ofchartered accountants in Sussex; they boast a fantastic reputationand have an exciting client base made up of clients within theentertainment sector. These include actors and artists sportsprofessionals bloggers vloggers and youtubers to name a few. Youwill have exposure to some fascinating work servicing thisprestigious clientbase.

    Responsibilitieswouldinclude:
    • PreparingVAT returns for businesses with complex VAT affairs such as partialexemption or internaltrade
    • Reviewingwork from less experienced members of theteam
    • Draftingreports and letters of advice for review by the VATmanagers
    • Preparingcalculations to support VATadvice
    • Researchingtechnicalmatters
    • Liaisingwith clients and attending meetings with other teammembers
    • Adhoc VAT support for the firm s diverse clientbase.


    RequirementsYouwill have been working within a tax or accountancy role for 2 yearsand have the desire to specialise in VAT. You will likely be ATT orACA/ACCA qualified/nearly qualified having had exposure to a broadrange of UK taxes including VAT. The role would also suit anindividual that has been working within a dedicated VAT role. Thesuccessful candidate will be keen to studyCTA.
