    Amcare Group care centres are located in Cheltenham, Basingstoke, Dartford, Lincoln, Nottingham, Runcorn, South Shields and Stirling. Our distribution centre is in Sunderland. These form the Amcare Group making us one of the largest dispensing appliance contractors in the UK.

    Job Summary

    You will be speaking to end users, HCPs and health care practices to establish relationships and promote ConvaTec Products and Amcare Solutions. An excellent communicator with a can-do attitude working to enhance our reputation and market share by providing ethical solutions to customer needs.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • To achieve agreed KPI targets
    • Develop new sales opportunities using outbound calls, E mails, SMS and live chat
      • Is a team player who understands the teams needs and shares ideas/suggestions
      • Makes follow-up calls to end users regarding products and services and using solution based selling skills, facilitate conversions to ConvaTec products and Amcare services
    • To keep updated with all new products and services available to our customers
    • Communicates effectively – both verbally and in writing with end users of our products, healthcare professionals and internal customers
    • Has an excellent understanding of all stoma types and can suggest appropriate products for each condition
    • Has an excellent understanding of the Amcare service offering and is able to position key benefits providing solutions and advocating customer choice
    • Drives performance through self-motivation and thrives under pressure. Prioritises workload to ensure that the service offered meets the expectation of the customer
    • Demonstrates proficiency in the use of databases and focuses on gathering essential information as quickly as possible bearing in mind the needs of our customers.
      • Displays sensitivity to the customer's needs including the need for confidentiality and discretion in written and spoken communication
    • Follows and understands the need for established procedures within the department but also questions, and continuously looks for ways they can be improved
    • Uses open questions and good questioning technique to identify an opportunity to upgrade a competitor user onto a ConvaTec Solution and Amcare service
    • Develops relationships with customers through empathy and diplomacy

    • Strong Keyboard skills, including advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and report writing

    • Proven track record of working towards KPI's and targets
    • Be able to deal effectively and professionally with all Customer Complaints
    • Has a good understanding of the Ostomy market, including all stoma types and can suggest appropriate products for each condition
    • Has thorough understanding of Convatec Products and services
    • Able to translate complex technical regulatory issues into plain language to nontechnical audiences
    • Articulate with advanced interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively with a variety of personnel including medical, scientific, manufacturing and commercial
    • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy

    Travel Requirements

    • Occasional travel required to Patient Open days at various venues.
    • At least monthly requirement to travel to any Amcare, ConvaTec or other UK site as required.

    Language Skills

    • Good verbal and written English
    • Excellent communication skills are essential

    Education and Experience

    • A-Levels
    • Degree preferred
    • Proven track record in Sales Role
    • Experience of recognizing sales opportunities

    Working Conditions

    • Office working

    Special Factors

    • To work required shifts between 08:00/19:00 (half hour lunch break)
    • Shifts worked are:
    • 8.00am – 4.00pm
    • 9.00am – 5.00pm
    • 10.00am – 6.00pm
    • 11.00am – 7.00pm
    • Saturday working AM
