We may be biased but we feel our take on quant research is something unique , and the challenges we take on sit at the very forefront of the quant research industry. Our focus is on culturally charging data. We do this through focussing on the outputs rather than the methods, reducing the noise in datasets and telling powerful human stories that distills data into insights – and always through the lens of cultural understanding.
If you love data but see the power in storytelling while blending and combining quant methods across qual, trends, even semiotics – then Crowd might just be the place for you.
We want someone who can challenge ways of thinking and showcase the powers of what quant research can do. We are looking for someone who can call on circa six plus years of relevant experience but we are open to hearing from all interested. As importantly, we want someone who relates to our values and will treat those around them – team members, project partners, participants – kindly and fairly at all times.
The details
As an Associate Director in the Numbers team we offer a chance to showcase your research capabilities, lead project teams, take on commercial opportunities with clients but importantly, we offer the unique opportunity to be an important guide in shaping our team philosophy and proposition.
More specifically, this role is about:
– Ensuring the smooth delivery of projects by taking ownership and leading the full process end to end.
– Keeping the senior lead up to date about project developments and arranging appropriate check-ins for feedback and signing off deliverables.
– Making sure everyone in the project team knows what their responsibilities are and that they deliver each task to the highest standard possible.
– Managing client expectations; pushing back to avoid scope creep and raising any increases in costs with clients.
– Making sure projects are delivered within budget, and within the allocated time estimated (as best as possible).
– Developing additional business opportunities during projects such as up-selling additional outputs, markets, and future projects etc.
– Contributing to the growth and development of the team
– Understanding client briefs and writing proposals, while contributing to commercial opportunities to develop for the team.
– Having the ability to analyse data, through a strong grasp of statistical methods but more importantly having the natural ability to translate data into insights.
– Producing visually engaging reports that draw out compelling key insights, recommendations, strategies and meet client and stakeholder needs
Working at Crowd DNA
The role comes with a competitive salary of £52,000 – £65,000 , as well as a bonus potential of up to 12% , and clear paths to promotion and to new opportunities. Benefits include:
