    Description
    The position can be based in our office in Windsor or Branston in the UK.

    In this role you will be the interface between our hotel owners and operational teams, IHG corporate teams and third-party vendorsthroughout in-flight technology projects in Europe, India, Middle East and Africa.

    This will include but is not limited to scheduling, facilitation of paperwork for financing the solution and ensuring a smooth implementation process for all parties involved.

    You will provide guidance and process support to external and internal partners as well as hotel operations teams and perform a quality audit after implementation is complete to ensure hotel acceptance and satisfaction.

    This role would ideally suit a strong communicator with a keen interest in technologywho is looking to further/pursue a career in project management.

    In summary, the Technology Services Consultant (TSC):
    Engages with hotel stakeholders and reinforces how the implementation supports the IHG technology strategy.
    Receives lead to begin implementation process for an IHG initiative and begins communications and implementation plans.

    Works with internal and external partners (including approved suppliers) to ensure that funding is received, or finances are secured for applicable implementations.

    Escalate any implementation issues brought forth by the hotel within the organization to ensure deployment is successful or issues are resolved.

    Collaborate with team leadership and business unit teams to support hotel engagement with technology initiatives.
    Coordinate between hotel and partners throughout the implementation lifecycle. Perform a quality audit after implementation is complete to ensure hotel acceptance and satisfaction.

    Ensure that all hotel interactions, implementation milestones and product information / data are properly logged and tracked in the appropriate systems.

    Identify opportunities to improve the processes wefollow and how we engage with hotels, owners, colleagues and approved suppliers.
    Bachelor's or master's degree in Hotel Management, Computer Science/MIS/IT or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.

    2 years in Hotel IT, IT Management, Account/Portfolio/Project Management or Technology Implementations experience.

    Demonstrated experience in building relationships where youare seen as trusted advisor.

    Strong interpersonal skills and solutions focused mindset to navigatecomplex situations and ensure projects are executed effectively and on time.

    Strong organisational skills and the abilityto manage simultaneous projects efficiently
    Demonstrated knowledge of the Service and Technology Industries is desired but not essential
    General understanding of technology environments and system lifecycles is desired but not essential
