    Default job background
    Description

Find the full job description for our part time Payroll Administrator role below. If you would like to apply or find out more information use the form or details below.

Here at Riverview, we are always on the lookout for enthusiastic people to join our friendly team. We value passion and attitude just as much as we do qualifications and experience.

You will join us on a part-time basis for around 20-25 hours per week. We are flexible on the working pattern, provided the hours worked are between 9am to 5pm. Hybrid working is available following a training and mentoring period.

The successful candidate will have previous and extensive experience in managing multiple weekly and monthly payrolls – therefore a background in practice or payroll bureau is highly desirable.

You will be responsible for the full end-to-end routine payroll processing for our expanding client base. Payroll duties include the full year-end requirements, P11D reporting, CIS submissions, Auto-Enrolment Pension Administration, and payroll legislation advice to clients.

The successful candidate must have at least two years' experience and comfortable with using various payroll software (this could be Sage, BrightPay or Xero). Being familiar with the full Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel is essential. You will possess technical payroll ability, a keen eye for detail and be able to work effectively as part of a high performing team. You will be a dedicated team player who can also perform tasks independently; be motivated and proactive in carrying out daily tasks and client focused with a 'can-do' approach to problem solving.

Applicants must also possess excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills and have the confidence to liaise with clients and outside agencies such as HMRC.

For more information and to apply for a role with us please email your CV, salary expectation, availability and a cover letter outlining why this environment would suit you and what you think you could do for our clients, using the form below.
