    As a Trainee Pensions Administrator, you will work as part of a team supporting the Consulting Office in the UK, be responsible for the maintenance and high quality of Aptia systems in order to provide the most accurate information to the client, so they can make better decisions.

    This will work directly and on a daily basis with the UK-based consultants in several UK office locations.

    This role is a hybrid position where you will work from our office in Lisbon, as well as from your home address.

    These varied roles will provide you with an exciting opportunity to learn about the processes at Aptia, whilst allowing you to grow and develop your knowledge within a pensions setting and growing team.

    You will receive full Aptia training through the support of excellent Learning and Development tools as well as training and peer mentoring.

    A variety of administration activities connected to the running of a pension scheme, including leavers, data changes, setting up benefits into payment, general policyholder enquiries and annual scheme updates

    • Learn how to perform pensions calculations, with the close support of your team
    • Work within specified timescales and produce quality work within this
    Work as part of a team, collaborating to continuously improve processes and service to clientsWhat we're looking for:

    • Bachelor/ Master's degree in engineering, maths, actuarial science, statistics, economics, finance or related field
    • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
    • UK pension knowledge (preferential but not mandatory)
    • Good IT skills, comfortable working with systems and programmes such as MS Office (especially Excel)
    • VBA skills (preferential)
    • Organised with strong attention to detail and problem solving
    • Able to work and collaborate as part of a team
    • Able to understand and follow set processes
    • Flexibility in adapting to different environments and types of work.
