    Description

    If you live and breathe marketing, we need to talk. We are looking for a Head of Marketing who'll lead all our marketing activities from Twitter, Discord, digital and physical campaigns to creative projects. Head of Marketing responsibilities include developing plans to help establish our brand, allocating resources to different projects and setting short-term and long-term marketing goals. If you're a skilled Marketing strategist, able to inspire your team members, we'd like to meet you. Ultimately, you will run our Marketing team in ways that promote high awareness and engagement, to help us build and maintain a strong and consistent brand through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels. To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience with Web3's specific organic growth nature and be a power user of crypto Twitter.

    Responsibilities

    • "Listen" to the trends of the market and direct the market research efforts of the company
    • Monitor competition (acquisitions, existing and new products and features)
    • Craft strategies for all Marketing teams, including Community, Content Marketing, Social Media Marketing and DevX
    • Design branding and positioning strategies within the Web3 industry
    • Ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (like events, email newsletter, web pages, social media and promotional material)
    • Analyze consumer behavior and refine customer personas over time
    • Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share
    • Build a highly efficient team of marketing professionals
    • Craft quarterly and annual hiring plans as well as marketing budget
    • Set, monitor and report on team goals
    • Coordinate marketing efforts to boost brand awareness
    • Design and coordinate promotional campaigns, PR and other marketing efforts across channels (digital, press etc.)
    • Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about our company and drive qualified traffic to our front door
    • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
    • Experiment with a variety of organic acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, event management, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis
    • Oversee and approve marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures and case studies
    • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals
    • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
    • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, DAOs and communities

    Requirements

    • 2+ years of work experience as Marketing Lead, Head of Marketing or VP Marketing in a Web3 company, project or DAO
    • Proven ability to deliver solid, long-lasting organic growth (without recurring to paid advertising)
    • Be a recognised marketing leader in the Web3 community with both creative and analytical capabilities
    • Experience running successful marketing campaigns in Web3 (especially on Twitter, Discord and Reddit)
    • Have an eye for appealing, engaging and beautiful design, a sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication
    • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
    • Up-to-date with the latest Web3 trends and best practices in blockchain marketing
    • Solid knowledge of web analytics, social media analytics and CRM software
    • Be able to set and prioritize short term goals and craft long term plans
    • Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all marketing aspects (branding, product promotion etc.)
    • Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods
    • Ability to apply marketing techniques over digital (e.g. social media) and non-digital (e.g. events) channels
    • Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities
    • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
    • BSc/BA in marketing, communications or relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plus
