    Description

    Due to growth, this ambitious fans and ventilation manufacturer is looking for a driven professional with a track record of selling into Social Housing providers t o join their London team.

    Offering a mould and condensation solution into Heads of Maintenance, local authority officers, damp and mould specialists in Housing associations, local authorities and social housing providers.

    Offering up to circa £50k basic, £60k+ ote and the opportunity to join the company at an exciting time in its development.

    As Area Sales Manager / Sales surveyor, you will be building strong relationships with Housing Associations, Local authorities and Private registered providers of social housing accommodation across London.

    As Business development manager, you will conduct site surveys on the tenants property (typically 4+ surveys per day), present a mould and condensation solution to the social housing provider and as a highly regarded manufacturer, present your supply and installation service.

    You will typically be building relationships with and selling to the reactive and planned maintenance departments of the Local authorities, Housing Associations and Private registered providers across your territory, which is likely to be SW, West, NW, North or NE London, inside the M25.

    Your decision makers that you'll sell to include Heads of Maintenance, local authority officers, maintenance officers and damp and mould specialists.

    Although this is a new role created through growth, you will have a database of customers to call on from day 1.


    • The successful BDM/ Area Sales Manager, will ideally have sold into the planned and reactive maintenance departments of Local Authorities, Housing Associations and Private registered providers of social housing accommodation, across London.

    Ideally you would have a sales track record with fans and ventilation/air movement, although experience of selling into the planned and reactive maintenance departments of Local Authorities, Housing Associations and Private registered providers of social housing accommodation is more important, as they offer excellent product training.

    Aligned products may include security, kitchens and bathrooms, smoke and fire solutions, anti-vandal solutions, windows and doors/glazing etc.

    A confident, engaging professional who is able to build strong B2B relationships, but also be credible in the tenants property and happy to conduct mould and damp surveys.

    Our client would also consider a surveyor who has worked in the social housing/ local authority arena with a confident can do attitude who is looking for a sales career.


    • Our client is a highly regarded, well established manufacturer of residential, commercial and industrial fans and ventilation.
    Could be flexible for an industry candidate.
    ~ Bonus paid quarterly giving a further 20%+ earning potential.
    ~ Hybrid company car, or possibly a car allowance.
    ~25 days holiday, rising by 1 day per annum, up to a maximum of 28 days, plus 8 Bank holidays.
    ~5% company pension contribution.
