    Description

    Publicity Manager

    We are looking for an enthusiastic member to join our team as Publicity Manager.

    The role will include:

    • Production of flyers, posters and the show programme using Canva (training provided)
    • Liaison with production of other publicity working with the publicity manager, so that an overall theme of colour and style in all publicity is maintained
    • Organisation of printing and distribution of marketing materials

    Main work is from May through to Mid August 2024.

    The annual Emsworth Show, which is open to all the family with craft, gardening & food stalls, as well entertainment for all. The show takes place in the New Life Church Grounds off Thorney Road in Emsworth on the Bank Holiday Monday in August. Planning for this event tends to start in January/February and the set up for the event at the grounds takes place from the Friday prior to the show on the Monday. There is a core team of volunteers that oversee the planning and set up of the show and they are keen to hear from volunteers who would be willing to help. The team is looking to fill a number of volunteer roles.

    Working in the various areas covered, including press and social media coverage, production and distribution of posters and flyers, provision of signs and banners, photography of the Show.

    Skills

    • Ideally some background or strong interest in marketing through various channels ie: social media, local newspapers
    • Good sense of design
    • Familiarity with a desktop publishing program would be beneficial

    This opportunity can be carried out whilst working from home .
