    Description

    Hyperbaric Consult (HBC) is a privately owned, Danish and successful company that provides services ranging from subsea construction & inspection programs, wind farm support, topside work and cable support, diving management and hyperbaric medical management, vessel management and hire. HBC was founded in 1996, today it has a leading niche market position with excellent project references across Northern Europe. Windfarm owners, operators and EPCI represent the primary customer groups but clients are also other subsea operators. Subsea support is carried out from own customised diving vessels equipped for wind farm construction and O&M taskHBC is headquartered in Gilleleje, Denmark, with a UK office in Macclesfield, near Manchester. HBC has approximately 30 full-time employees with close access to a competent pool of divers (ROV) and offshore technicians who are hired on a project-by-project basis

    Business Development Manager.

    Tender management and client relations – Offshore Wind industry in Europe

    A very important and influential part of a smaller organization, where you will make a great difference:

    • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the offshore wind industry with a specific focus on inspection and maintenance services. The EU market is driven by EU- tenders and the very large UK market is less tender driven and more relationship driven.
    • Develop and implement strategies to secure new projects and contracts.
    • Manage tender in close cooperation with the back office team and making sure responses are timely and accurate in order to secure new orders.
    • Cultivate relationships with offshore wind farm operators, contractors and technology partners
    • Negotiate and establish strategic partnerships to expand the service portfolio and to seek new potential business opportunities.
    • Serve as a primary contact for customers and potential customers and develop long lasting relations to customers.

    You can read and complete a large tender that demands attention to detail and you like to contact new people and establish good relations build on mutual trust and understanding the clients business. You must have knowledge of the offshore wind industry and you must have experience working with EU-tenders. You might work with tender management in the industry today and would like to be a more influential part of a smaller organization where you will have great impact on the entire organization. You might have your background in procurement and now wish to work in a more commercial extrovert role. You speak and write English.

    HBC has a hybrid workplace, so it is not so important where you live but you are expected to be in the office in Gilleleje, Denmark some days each month.
