    Full time permanent

    Salary £35-40K DOE + benefits

    We are looking for an experienced Support & Infrastructure Specialist for our business, Franchise Brands.

    Franchise Brands is an international, multi-brand franchisor focused on building market-leading businesses primarily via a franchise model. The Group currently has a combined network of over 625 franchisees across seven brands in the UK, North America and Europe.

    We own several market-leading brands with established trading histories: Metro Rod, Metro Plumb, Willow Pumps, Filta, and more recently, Pirtek in Europe - all of which benefit from the Group's central support services, in particular; Franchise Support, National Sales / Account Management, Information Technology, Marketing, Finance, Recruitment and HR.

    What does it entail?

    This is a hybrid role, with presence required at our IT Head Office based in Milton Keynes.

    Working as part of Franchise Brands IT Support team the role will support and implement IT functions across the entire group. Acting as an escalation point for IT issues as well as cloud administration and networking. The role will cover most IT functions in some aspect across the entire group including office across the UK and Europe.

    Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

    • Server and cloud administration
    • Group wide support and problem management
    • Implementing and testing disaster recovery plans
    • Assisting and upskilling more junior members of the team
    • Patch and security management
    • Network monitoring and administration
    • Assisting with IT project work
    • Change management
    • Ensuring the smooth running of the IT function group wide

    What IT experience are we looking for?

    The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable across most areas of IT. A proactive approach to support and problem resolution. Some leadership and assistance of other members of the wider IT support team. Training can be provided in areas needed.

    Essential:

    • Experience in IT support and implementation of Microsoft products
    • Azure/cloud experience
    • Infrastructure and networking
    • Strong customer service
    • Microsoft 365 suite

    Desirable:

    • Microsoft/IT qualifications
    • Previous support of international locations
    • European spoken languages
    • Incident management
    • Change management
    • Kubernetes
    • Cyber security knowledge
    • Microsoft Intune and Defender
