    Are you an experienced Operations Manager with strong organisational & leadership skills ideally in the Manufacturing Sector?

    if so, we have a fantastic opportunity to a be part of our client's senior management team and join them as Head of Operations. As Head of Operations, you will be responsible for leadership & management across all operations and contribute to the senior leadership team.     Our Client's success has been built on consistency in the quality of their timber, timber products and their excellent customer service along with their comprehensive involvement in the sector, continually growing and expanding the company and their industry knowledge

    They have Nationwide Coverage in the United Kingdom and also Ireland and have been supplying high quality products to Distributors & Manufacturers. Celebrating over 100 years of success in the sector, the business is looking to continue its growth and development with the appointment of a new Head of Operations

    The Individual

    The ideal candidate would have experience in the Production or Manufacturing sectors and be experienced in leading Operations Teams in a Senior Leadership role. You will be ambitious and enthusiastic, and you will be able to lead and develop your teams to be able to deliver the business targets across both operations. You will be driven by new ideas and always strive to bring innovation to the business.

    Ideal Industries will be Manufacturing, Engineering, Component Assembly, Component Manufacturing, Metal Structures, Modular Construction etc.

    Job Duties & Responsibilities as Head of Operations

    • Montor production performance and continually look to improve KPI's.
    • Develop and execute continual improvements across all operations.
    • Be able to implement Process Improvement methodologies
    • Lead, develop and coach your teams.
    • Continually develop the company brand and reputation with suppliers
    • Actively promote and prioritise a safe working environment.
    • Set production budget to maximise return for the business.
    • Work closely with Senior Management ensuring that production schedules forecast maximise sales, yield, and profit.
    • Report on overall performances across all operation at the monthly Senior Management Meetings

    Location/Area: Central Belt of Scotland
