    What is the job?

    Would you revel being in a worldwhere you bring people joy, happiness and unforgettable experiences through the medium of events? Better yet, would it light a fire inside you to deliver a wide variety of events from film festivals to school events, within some of the most beautiful and unique cinema buildings in the UK?

    You could be the headline act to take on the Head of Events role for Picturehouse, reporting into our Head of Commercial Eleanor Whalley . You will bring onboard new events partners whilst managing and delivering the end-to-end events process for clients both new & old.

    What will you be doing?

    • You will be responsible for the full end-to-end events process at Picturehouse; prospecting for new clients, selling our unique spaces to further develop new events business and then of course overseeing the delivery of all events.
    • You willcollaborate with a wide range of stakeholders internally (onsite & support office); this will include Finance, Marketing, Commercial, Cinema Management, Cinema Operations teams & many more. External partners could range from, Film Industry organisations, to large entertainment brands and even schools.
    • You will be analysing & reporting on events to ensure they stay commercially aligned with business goals and hit targets.

    About you

    • You will be a confident communicator that has a proven track record of managing multiple stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of both corporate and private events for a wide variety of audiences.
    • You will be a networker and people person at your core, confident in your ability to discover and secure new events business opportunities.
    • You will be comfortable working with autonomy and pride yourself on your organisational ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
    • You will be able to switch from your creative mind set and wear a commercial hat to ensure all KPIs and financial targets are hit.
