    Sport Management Consultancy - Engagement Manager

    ?

    Portas Consulting is the leading strategy consulting firm dedicated to sport. We work with clients globally including major international and national sporting bodies, professional sports clubs and leagues, and investors on their most critical and complex issues.?

    • Developed a strategy to professionalize women's football?
    • ?Re-shaped the men's and women's global rugby calendars from 2026
    • ?Conducted ground-breaking research into the value of grassroots sport
    • ?Commercial advisors on some of the largest transactions in sport in 2023.?

    You will have an accelerated, global career in a rapidly growing business, involving the following responsibilities:?

    • ?
    • Manage single or multiple project teams to deliver exceptional impact
    • ?Lead team problem-solving
    • ?Lead client interactions and manage client relationships
    • ?Produce high quality strategy presentations and deliverables
    • ?Coach and develop team members to become excellent consultants
    • ?Help drive Portas business development on a global basis
    • ?Build the firm's knowledge base.?

    We are looking for outstanding Project Managers with the following experience:?

    • ?
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience at a top tier strategy consulting firm or strategy experience in a reputed sports organisation
    • ?Proven record of high performance and substantial achievements in your past positions
    • ?Exceptional problem solving skills
    • ?Demonstrated leadership ability
    • ?Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
    • ?Genuine interest in sport
    • ?Solid sports industry knowledge is desirable
    • Prepared to work on a global basis.
