Role Overview
This position presents an opportunity for an experienced business development professional to join our successful Global Market Insights Sales Team to help drive business with the next generation of IQVIA's strategic clients.
Tasks will include outbound calling with the objective of booking product demonstrations and closing business for our data solution. This contributes directly to top line revenue growth and also allows IQVIA to enhance prospective relationships and increase the volume of quality customer touch points.
Essential Functions
·Drive the number of the inside sales team; understand the correlation between activity and revenue
·Proactively engage and support team in achieving sales targets, training and development
·Drive standards and KPI's alongside the other leaders in the other regions throughout the globe
·Provide weekly/monthly sales and revenue reports as well as realistic forecasts to the management team
·Build relationships across the business unit, Global Market Insights (GMI)
·Work with the Global Sales Director on developing sales strategies along with setting targets
·Sourcing relevant companies
·Calling new business prospects
·Strive to meet and exceed all established call and revenue targets
·Customer interaction:
·Gain a comprehensive understanding of the client's business, challenges and strategy, in order to become partner of choice
·Developing and growing a network of key contacts across clients at all levels
·Continually develop and update own knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical and consumer health industry, IQVIA and offerings and that of nominated client base
Experience and Qualifications Required
·Bachelor's Degree
·Proven track record of inside sales experience and a passion for new business sales
·Relevant industry experience and knowledge of the company's market helpful
·Track record of over-achieving quota
·Strong phone presence and experience dialing a high number of calls per day
·Thrive in a quick sales cycle environment
·Demonstrable skills in problem solving
·Ability to articulate a customer's issue by offering the best IQVIA solution
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to interpret and present complex concepts
·Proactive and accountable with own pipeline and sales
·Self-motivated, driven to succeed
·Building strong and lasting relationships with customers
·Target driven
